PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS
PERSONALITY-based
BPS provides personality assessments, which includes examining personality traits and/or interests of those entering specific career tracks, but can also be used to determine the possible presence of personality disorders.*
We currently provide personality-based psychological evaluations for a religious organization in the Bay Area and are happy to work with other organizations and individuals to provide this service upon request.
DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATIONS
BPS offers evaluations that may provide additional clarity regarding presence of particular psychological disorders. Formal, objective tests are used to determine presence of mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, etc.*
We also provide brief diagnostic evaluations to assess the effects of trauma (and presence of post-traumatic stress disorder and related disorders) for individuals and organizations by request. We have conducted over 80 PTSD evaluations for organizations in our practice to date. Feel free to contact us for more information.
CAREER ASSESSMENTS
Folks who are struggling to determine their interests and abilities may benefit from seeking formal career assessments that examine aptitudes, interests and personality factors as they relate to possible career paths. BPS provides this type of assessment to support those who are in the early stages of career exploration and hoping to learn more about themselves and potential careers that would be a good fit.
FERTILITY Care-RELATED
Some fertility clinics in California require a psychological evaluation, or more specifically, an evaluation for readiness/suitability for fertility care by a licensed mental health clinician. We are happy to support you in your fertility journey by providing these types of evaluations if you are pursuing intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization services (IVF), including donor eggs, sperm, or donor embryos. *Please note that we do not provide forensic assessment services. Thus, we do not serve court-ordered clients, work with criminal proceedings, work with those seeking services for custody/divorce cases, or serve as expert witnesses in trials.
